New Entrance Building

The AWHC's long anticipated 'Main Street Entrance Project' opens in May 2021.  Construction of a new multi-purpose building housing a cafe, and retail outlet will reposition the Centre's current entrance to Oak Street (Barcaldine's main street). 

The café has an indoor seated area as well as outdoor chairs and tables with adjoining children's playground and landscaped surrounds all designed to complement the visitor experience.  Visit our café and select from a menu featuring a range of meal options created from fresh and locally sourced ingredients, sit back, relax and enjoy a casual dining experience.
